Nuove Mundi is a trio of musicians who have been playing together at workshops for 15 years. We represent a much larger group of USA musicians who are interested in the music of the European town bands and all of us play in different groups across the eastern part of the USA. Valerie Austin is a professor of music history who recently retired to Florida, and David and Barbara hail from Atlanta, are now in Texas where they founded the group Lauda Musicum, and are soon moving to Philadelphia.
Nuovo Mundo bestaat uit een drietal muzikanten die op workshops al 15 jaar samenspelen. We representeren een grotere groep muzikanten uit de USA die geïnteresseerd zijn in de muziek van Europese stads(pijper)-bands, We spelen allemaal in verschillende groepen in het oostelijk deel van de USA. Valerie Austin is een professor in muziekgeschiedenis, onlangs gepensioneerd in Florida, David en Barbara komen uit Atlanta, en zijn nu in Texas waar ze de groep Lauda Musicum hebben opgericht. Binnenkort verhuizen ze naar Philadelphia.
